Why hiring is hard
Your house needs work. Who do you hire?
Your home needs work, and you don't want to gamble on who does it.
- I'm afraid of being overcharged.
- I'm afraid the contractor will ignore me once the job starts.
- I don't want to be left with a mess.
- I don't want to pay twice to fix a bad job.
- I don't want work that fails inspection.
A problem you put off only gets bigger and costs more, and the wrong contractor makes it worse.
